HemelBesem and Isaac Mutant are shown sharing a plate of food, according to recent social media photographs.

The two feature in Showmax’s Spinners, which has a 7,7 rating on the Internet Movie Database. Angie Oeh and DJ Ready D also feature in the groundbreaking show soundtrack.

Maybe they disagreed on things in the past. However, this meeting was for finding common ground.

The music industry is about more than just ‘rapper beef’ and ‘diss tracks’.

HemelBesem and Isaac Mutant are showing the industry’s inspirational side.

There’s room for talking and debating, too.

HemelBesem and Isaac Mutant are the founding fathers of the Cape Town hip-hop scene.

While they’ve had past differences, they’ve also shared many past successes.

The rappers met after Spinners featured both of their music.

Lest we forget: HemelBesem and Isaac also featured in the double album Double Story.

It’s undoubtedly inspiring.

According to RapDictionary, ‘beef’ means to have a gripe or conflict with someone.

Rapper beef is common in the industry.

Eminem had ‘beef’ with Machine Gun Kelly, who practically retired after talking about Eminem’s daughter in his own ‘diss track’.

However, feel-good stories aren’t necessarily seen as often.

HemelBesem and Isaac have broken bread and new ground.

It’s South African hip-hop like you’ve never heard it before unless you own several album copies.

It’s the best of HemelBesem – and Isaac Mutant.

In the long run, rappers build allies and friendships, too.

Rappers are sometimes known for controversy and bite, though hip-hop can also show people uniting over music.
